Founded in 1999, the LCA was created by the British Association of Chemical Specialities (BACS) and the Water Management Society (WMSoc). With the aim of creating a Code of Conduct for Service Providers concerned with controlling the risk of Legionella, the organisation has installed a number of objectives that members must comply to in the control of legionella bacteria in water systems.
LCA members comprises service providers, manufacturers, installers and consultancies which offer products and services associated with the control of legionella in water systems. While membership is voluntary, it’s seen across the entire industry as an increasingly important factor in demonstrating a high commitment to a quality level of service. In addition to this, many public and private tenders for water system services now require bidders to be registered.
As an industry leader in the repair & relining of water storage tanks and other mechanical works associated with The Control of Legionella Bacteria, we’re on a mission to ensure that your tanks and systems are repaired and relined to hold fresh water, free of any potential bacteria that could cause Legionnaires Disease. In addition to tank relining, we also provide a specialist cleaning and chlorination service to safely, quickly and effectively clean tanks, minimising downtime whilst ensuring the safety of all involved.
To avoid the risk of bacteria in water and to keep your customers, residents or the public safe, it’s crucially important to use a company that is a member of the LCA. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a specific project, please contact us today.
