Reline of a 40 year-old galvanised steel tank using a WRAS approved polyurethane.
This galvanised steel tank at a care home was in a serious state of disrepair, with heavy corrosion providing the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. The tank also required various mechanical upgrades, including replacement of a 2" float valve with a new Keraflo KB valve, as well as new insulation and overflow.
Our specialist engineering team installed a temporary tank to ensure the water supply to the building would be uninterrupted throughout the works. The tank was then drained, prepared and relined, and all mechanical works were undertaken. The project was completed in four days, with the newly relined tank supported with a 10-year guarantee.
